    Creating an influencer campaign: from brief to evaluation

    Plan a campaign with a measurable objective, clear brief, funded commitments and an evaluation that separates actions, sales and profitability.

    An influencer campaign starts before publication. Define the offer, expected result, commitments and tracking. This process makes the test assessable; it does not guarantee profitability.

    Define the objective and scope

    Choose one priority: awareness, traffic, enquiries or purchases. Specify the observed action, period, audience and destination page. A recorded click does not automatically become a qualified prospect.

    For a product, check stock and delivery. For a service, check coverage area, availability and enquiry handling. Document later sales separately when they follow a quote or appointment.

    Choose the creator and agree the brief

    Review recent content, tone, formats and relevant audience information. AI matching supports selection; its score does not guarantee performance.

    The brief should specify:

    • the product or service and the facts the creator may state;
    • format, deliverables, dates and expected approvals;
    • the call to action and link to use;
    • commercial disclosure and agreed reuse rights;
    • payment, measurement and cancellation terms.

    Leave creative freedom in the presentation. Check sensitive claims: a creator must not invent customer results or personal experience. The content collaboration guide explains this work.

    Fund commitments before launch

    A creation component can coexist with action-based payment. On WeeGlad, the application and its acceptance establish collaboration terms. Depending on funding, a campaign may remain awaiting payment instead of becoming active.

    Where a creation fee applies, payment follows approval of promotion evidence under the applicable framework. An absence of sales therefore does not necessarily remove that payment.

    The wallet separates available funds from reserved campaign budget. Also allow for gifted products, delivery, rights and internal time. Read pricing before accepting commitments.

    Test the journey and publish

    Check that the link reaches the correct page, the form or checkout works and the expected event can be reconciled with tracking. Use an appropriate test environment or procedure without creating false commercial results.

    Consent and information for individuals belong in tracking preparation. Also check commercial collaboration disclosure.

    Read results and decide what comes next

    During the campaign, monitor spend, publications and incidents. Budget or brief changes must respect accepted commitments; they do not let you freely cancel payments already owed.

    At evaluation, distinguish dashboard metrics, confirmed orders or enquiries, and margin after complete costs. Compare consistent periods and formats. The ROI guide explains why revenue alone does not establish profitability.

    Keep what works and formulate one clear hypothesis for the next test. No format or network is systematically best for every offer.
